Family Summer Camp Programme
We offer week-long residential camps for the entire family that provides activity for both parents and children. Children will take part in the youth programmes on offer with our arts and cultural leaders with the opportunity to take part in a performance at the end of the week. Many of the workshops are designed for parents and children to take part in together, strengthening family bonds and creating life-long memories for both!
Parents also have the opportunity to take part in leadership and personal development workshops on a range of topics including:
Global Leadership
Authenticity and Moral Courage
Devising a plan for a worthwhile life
Mental health and well-being
Leadership presence and confidence
Self-discipline and intrinsic motivation
Engaging with the natural world
Sustainable living and social responsibility
Parenting for the 21st century
Creative development
Poetry and singing
Dance and self-expression
Social enterprise and community leadership
Organic gardening
Additionally, throughout each week, there are a range of evening talks, workshops and performances from visiting practitioners working on the summer camps with the children who come to share their work with the general public. Opportunities to visit the Pyrénées for hiking or biking expeditions is offered, along with a trip to the Basque coast and other cultural excursions in the local area. Wine tasting available on request.
All meals are included and are prepared using fresh local ingredients, including fruit and vegetables grown in the organic garden of Clos de Gaye. Meals are served in the main manor house on the Clos de Gaye estate or in the gardens and public spaces of the property.
Accommodation is provided in the superior ‘stargazer’ luxury tents, affording residents the opportunity of a nightly ‘star show’ from the comfort of your bed. Showers and toilets are available in luxury portacabins and/or in the barn extension.

There will be four 1 week sessions of family camps spread through the beginning of July to the beginning of August, with anticipated dates as follows:
7th July – 14th July: Identity, Belonging and Storytelling with Guy Mendilow and Regie Gibson
14th July - 21st July: Identity, Belonging and Storytelling with Guy Mendilow and Regie Gibson
21st July – 28th July: Finding Your Voice with Clarice Assad and Preeti Vasudevan
28th July - 4th August: Finding Your Voice with Clarice Assad and Preeti Vasudevan

Cost
The cost of the 1 week session for one family (up to 2 adults 2 children in one tent) is 10,000 euros plus sales tax (French TVA at 20%) for the entire one week programme, with additional children at 1,000 euros per child plus sales tax (French TVA at 20%). This includes all tuition, workshops, day trips, accommodation, food and local transport. All travel to and from our local airport/train station is included.
Accommodation
Is provided in the superior ‘stargazer’ luxury tents, affording residents the opportunity of a nightly ‘star show’ from the comfort of your bed. Showers and toilets are available in luxury portacabins and/or in the barn extension.
We make all efforts possible to make the camp accessible to those who use wheelchairs and are always open to discussions on how to broaden our accessibility efforts as widely as possible, to make the magic of Clos de Gaye available to all.
