Teenage Summer Camp Programme
Teenagers will take part in workshops that train them in all aspects of the performance process, learning theatre, dance, music, production skills, backstage, lighting, marketing and front of house. They will learn valuable 21st century skills, such as:
the techniques of participatory arts and collaborative theatre making
the ability to create and present an original piece of theatre which will focus on themes of self-actualisation/resiliency, social engagement of diverse populations, and issues of concern to local communities
all aspects of the creative process (ideation, conceptualisation, writing, designing, producing and performing)
This will also develop their:
critical ‘higher-order’ leadership skills of collaboration, communication, critical thinking, problem solving and project management.
global perspective, with new language skills, experience of living and working abroad and, an enhanced understanding of other cultures and their place in the world
21st century creative thinking skills to handle artificial intelligence and technological dominance
deep understanding and respect for other countries and cultures and a love of language learning and communication
group/communal learning which addresses learning/socialising gaps exacerbated by pandemic lockdowns
Our camp leaders are all French BAFA-qualified* in compliance with French law, and are subject to a diligent screening process with criminal record checks. Additionally, the Centre for the Arts and Global Leadership has a rigorous safeguarding policy and procedures. Further details can be provided on request.
*The Brevet d'Aptitude aux Fonctions d'Animateur (BAFA) or, childcare aptitude certificate, is a qualification that is required by the French government. Under Youth and Sports regulation in France, a certain percentage of childcare workers in a summer camp must have this certificate.

Summer Camps for Teenagers - 2 weeks
Dates
There will be four 2 week sessions of camps spread through the middle of June to the middle of August, with anticipated dates as follows:
· 23rd June – 7th July
· 7th July – 21st July
· 21st July – 4th August
· 4th – 18th August
Cost
The cost of a 2 week session for one teenager is 4,000 euros plus sales tax (French TVA at 20%) for the entire two week programme, to include all tuition, workshops, day trips, accommodation, food and local transport. All travel to and from our local airport/train station is included. We are offering a special ‘early bird’ rate of 3000 euros (plus sales tax) for those that sign up before 31st January. Hurry and book now!
Additionally, we also offer the opportunity for you to support the full cost of a child without the means to experience an opportunity such as this and we can also offer tax deductions on this offer, depending on where you are based.
